HEAPETS P358 Air Purifier: Dual Inlets and Filter Upkeep

The HEAPETS P358 has two U-shaped side inlets and touch controls for running the purifier in a pet room. The listing emphasizes a pre-filter for airborne hair, HEPA particle filtration and an activated-carbon layer for some odors. Its controls suit someone who wants to change settings on the unit.

This review covers White&Grey, ASIN B0DSC36LB6. We used the Amazon listing and selected full buyer reviews for that variant, excluding reviews linked to the black sibling ASIN. We have not tested airflow, noise or pollutant removal. The positive examples are individual buyer reports, not a measure of typical results.

Controls and placement

The P358 listing identifies five fan speeds, Auto, Pet and Sleep modes, plus a timer, lock and filter reminder. Auto mode uses the detected PM2.5 level to adjust operation. The display can help a reader see changes in that reading, but it does not measure every kind of pollutant or tell you how much pet odor remains.

The seller says Sleep mode turns off the display lights and can run as low as 25 dB. We have not checked that figure. Higher airflow may require another setting, so consider the sound at the speed you intend to use.

In a four-star review dated August 19, 2026, the verified buyer using the name Replacement reported that the plug felt very hot when unplugging the unit to move it. The report does not establish a cause or how often this occurs. The CPSC’s home wiring guide advises unplugging and stopping use when an appliance plug becomes unusually warm or hot, and having a qualified repair professional address it.

Both side inlets need space to draw in air. Choose a position that keeps them clear and lets you reach the filters for routine cleaning. The listing itself recommends vacuuming hair that has already settled on floors, sofas or bedding.

The technical table identifies touch control. The P365’s app and Wi-Fi features should not be carried over to the P358 without model-specific confirmation.

Positive reports about daily use

Chaz A’s August 5, 2026 review described more than eight months of use. The buyer reported finding hair, dust and lint on the pre-filter, and found lower fan settings quiet enough to leave running during the day and overnight. They also liked Auto mode and found the pre-filter easy to remove and clean. Amazon marked the review Verified Purchase for White&Grey.

The review does not provide measured particle-removal rates or establish that another home will collect the same amount.

In a September 25, 2026 review, Zach Dardenne said they bought a second unit for another room and found cleaning easy. That review was also marked Verified Purchase for White&Grey.

Read the coverage claim with its qualifier

The seller claims a clean air delivery rate of up to 176 CFM and coverage of 2,500 square feet once per hour. Both are seller figures that we have not independently verified. The once-per-hour qualifier belongs with the advertised area; an unqualified 2,500-square-foot recommendation would leave out how the seller describes that coverage.

Before sizing the unit, ask about the airflow and air-change rate at the setting you will actually use. The listing’s maximum figure does not establish the airflow in Sleep mode or across rooms separated by doors.

Keep pre-filter care separate from HEPA care

The P358 title and technical details describe a washable pre-filter. That wording does not authorize washing the HEPA or activated-carbon assembly. Follow the model’s manual to identify what can be washed, how it must dry and which parts need replacement.

The seller references B0H2W6V5LJ for the composite filter and B0H7SDXLPG for pre-filter pads. Check both against the P358 model before ordering. We have no cost comparison that verifies the listing’s claimed filter savings, and maintenance needs will depend on the material the filters collect.

The EPA’s air-cleaner guidance explains that filtration supplements source control and ventilation. Particle filters and carbon address different material, and no purifier removes all pollutants. Cleaning the litter box, bedding and room remains part of managing pet odors.
